About

The Pilgrim with a Pen and a Purpose

I’m a husband, father, Air Force serviceman, and Christian writer navigating the tension between the temporal and the eternal. Raised in the rugged quiet of Alaska and now rooted in Texas, I’ve always felt the pull between discipline and wonder — the world as it is, and the world as it ought to be.

My writing explores that in-between. Inspired by the likes of C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, and the biblical journey of the soul, I craft allegories where innocence falls, truth hides in forests, and redemption waits on distant moons. I believe stories can speak what sermons sometimes cannot — that fiction can whisper what theology shouts.

Whether I’m studying Biblical Greek, making mead, or tucking my son into bed, I’m chasing a single thread: the upward call. That quiet Voice that says, look up… rise… return.

This site is a place for fellow pilgrims — for those who wrestle with doubt, long for meaning, and believe there’s still something sacred worth pursuing. Welcome.
